FAQ
What is ViralRoyale?+
Founders pay creators for results, two ways. A contest splits one prize by who drove the most. A bounty pays a fixed price for every post that clears a bar.
Contest or bounty, which is which?+
In a contest what you earn depends on who else enters. A bounty names the price up front: clear the bar, get paid, however many others do too.
How does a creator get paid?+
Sign in with X, agree to the terms, post. A contest pays your share of the pool at the close. A bounty pays the fixed price once your post clears the bar.
How does a bounty slot work?+
One slot per creator, yours for 48 hours. Claim it and nobody can take that money from under you; let it lapse and it goes back on sale. When the budget is spent the bounty stops paying.
What counts as a click?+
A real visitor who lands and stays five seconds. Some campaigns count link opens instead and say so. One per visitor per day; bots and datacentre traffic are removed. Campaigns paying only on views or likes never ask for a link.
What does a contest pay on?+
Views, likes and clicks, in whatever proportion the founder chose. Each gets its own share of the pool and is handed out on its own numbers, so views never drown likes. No combined score: every number is one you can check yourself.
Does a bigger account always win?+
Views scale with audience, but likes and clicks reward a post that landed, so a founder who weights those runs a contest a smaller account can win. Bounties rank nobody: clear the bar and everyone who cleared is paid the same.
How exactly is the prize split?+
One share of the pool per axis, each shared out on that axis alone and on a curve, so numbers on different scales never compete. Everyone with a result gets something, and an axis nobody scored on hands its share to the axes that were scored.
$300 clicks
$200 likes
$1,000 across the three axes. Founders pick their own, and each share is handed out on that axis alone, so views never drown likes.
When are post metrics counted?+
Continuously. A contest pays on the closing reading. A bounty pays 72 hours after your post clears the bar.
What stops someone buying views or likes?+
We review every payout before paying it, and reject bought engagement. On a bounty the 72-hour hold does the first pass: we re-read the post, since much of what a panel sells is stripped by X within days, and check it still clears its bar and still looks organic — reach with nobody replying, likes with no views behind them, a post that travelled far with nothing resharing it. Anything suspect is held and can be voided instead of paid. Small posts are never judged on ratios.
Who holds the money, and when is it paid out?+
We hold the budget from funding. A contest pays at the close, a bounty as each post clears. Set your payout address in Settings first.
What does it cost a founder?+
The budget plus a 10% fee, by card or stablecoin. From $50, up to 30 days. A bounty spends only on posts that clear, and refunds the rest. Every campaign is reviewed.
Do I need an affiliate tool to run one?+
No. You can link your own, but we neither track nor pay it.
