Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You need an X account in good standing, which is how we establish who you are. You are responsible for everything done under your account.

There are no separate account types. The same account can fund campaigns and compete in them. You cannot compete in a campaign you fund, and we block it. Running a second account to enter a campaign you already entered, or to compete in your own, ends both accounts.

Signing in grants us read access to your public X profile and posts. We use it to confirm your handle, read your follower count, and read the posts you report to us. We never post as you, and you can revoke access from your X settings at any time. See the Privacy Policy.

There are two kinds, and the campaign page says which before anyone enters.

• Contest. One prize pool, split across everyone who entered by the axes the founder weighted, at the close.
• Bounty. A fixed price for each post that clears one numeric bar, paid as posts clear. One slot per creator, held 48 hours once claimed. When the budget is spent the bounty stops paying, even if the window is open.

The founder also sets the window, at most 30 days, and the acceptance criteria a post must meet. We review every campaign after funding and can decline one without giving a reason.

Once live, the founder cannot pause, shorten or cancel it, and cannot change the basis, the bar, the price or the eligibility rules. Those are what creators entered on. Only an operator can close a campaign early, and only for abuse or a legal problem.

Funding is a single payment covering the prize plus a 10% platform fee. We hold the prize and distribute it to the winning creators. The founder never pays creators directly.

• If we decline a campaign at review, we refund the full amount, fee included.
• Once a campaign is live the prize is committed and is not refundable. Creators are working against it.
• The fee is earned when the campaign is published and is not refundable after that.
• If a campaign ends with no eligible creators, the prize is returned to the founder and the fee is not.
• A bounty only spends on posts that cleared its bar. Whatever it never spent is returned to the founder.

Views and likes are read from the post itself, as X reports them. Clicks come from a tracked link, and only campaigns that pay on clicks use one. There is no combined score: each number is one you can check yourself.

A clicks campaign states whether it counts verified landings, which need our snippet and a visitor who stays five seconds, or link opens. Both filter bots, deduplicate visitors and cap rates. Our measurement is what pays. We do not settle disputes about clicks measured elsewhere, because no two analytics tools agree.

To have a post counted you report it by link. We read it ourselves and check that it is yours and that it meets the campaign criteria, including the tracked link where that campaign asks for one. A post can be counted on one campaign only. Deleting it, or making your account private, may remove the credit.

A contest divides the prize into one share per axis the founder chose, then shares each out in proportion to what you drove, weighted so stronger performance earns more than a straight-line share. The parts sum to the exact prize.

A bounty pays the same fixed price to every post that clears the bar, until the budget runs out. Clearing by more earns no more. A payout becomes releasable 72 hours after the post clears, so numbers can settle and a deleted post can be caught.

The hold is a check, not a queue. When it ends we read the post again, because engagement bought from a panel is routinely stripped by X within days: it has to still exist, still be yours, and still clear the bar it cleared on. We also read the shape of its engagement, because purchased packages leave a signature — reach with nobody talking, likes with no views behind them, a post that supposedly travelled with nothing resharing it. None of this judges a small post; below a few hundred views the ratios mean nothing and we do not read them.

A payout that fails any of this is held rather than paid, and we tell you why. We review every payout before it is paid, whichever kind of campaign it came from, and we may release it, or void it and return the money to the campaign budget. On a contest an entry we disqualify is removed from the split before it is worked out, so the rest of the field is paid more, not less.

We pay in USDC to the wallet in your settings. If it is missing or wrong we cannot pay you, and we are not responsible for funds sent to an address you gave us.

You are responsible for your own taxes. We do not withhold and we do not give tax advice.

• Traffic you did not earn: bots, click farms, paid-to-click services, incentivised clicks, or your own repeat visits.
• Buying engagement on a post you report to us.
• Promoting a product in a way that misrepresents it, or in places its founder has excluded.
• Posting a sponsored promotion without disclosing it. Local rules apply to you, not to us.
• Spam, harassment, adult content, or anything illegal in your country or the founder’s.
• Interfering with our measurement, including tampering with the tracking link or the verification snippet.

We can disqualify an entry, withhold a payout, or close an account for any of this. A disqualified entry is removed from the split and the prize is redistributed among everyone else.

Your posts are yours. By reporting one you let us read it, store its text and public metrics, and show it on the campaign pages so a founder can see what was posted. Founders grant us the right to show their product name, logo and copy on the site and on the share cards for the campaign.

We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why unless doing so would help somebody game the system. If we suspend you while you are owed a settled payout, we still pay what was legitimately earned.

ViralRoyale is provided as it is. We do not promise a campaign will get traffic, that a product will sell, or that the service will be uninterrupted. We are not responsible for what a founder’s product does, or for anything a creator posts.

Except where the law does not allow it, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses.

If we change these terms we will update the date above, and material changes will not apply retroactively to a campaign already running. Questions go to @viral_royale on X, which is where we answer.
